As a freelance model maker I work in various sectors in the creative industry creating models for a range of projects.
My current miniature work explores the process of image making through the physical creation of the miniature and photography plays a huge role in developing these ideas. A collection of my recent photographic work along with a model prototype is currently been exhibited in the Quarry Bank Mill in Styal and The Peoples History Museum in Manchester. This current exhibition explores the motion of how communities and people are controlled by either physical, legal or cultural means. My work is heavily influenced by current events and drawing plays an important role in how my ideas transform into 3D.
As a freelancer, my passion is to use my acquired model making skills to work within TV, film and theatre and combine my embroidery knowledge with traditional model making techniques to create new and exciting designs.
